The Imperial War Museum

The Imperial War Museum in London is the main branch (of five) of the United Kingdom's galleries for all aspects of British conflict since 1914. As you enter the lobby, a Supermarine Spitfire is suspended overhead! There are extensive galleries showing all facets of the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Holocaust, and rotating special exhibits. The museum is located in south London and is well worth a morning or an afternoon for anyone interested in the effects and aspects of international conflict!
